He previously held a position as a researcher at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he successfully completed his PhD as part of the interdisciplinary Research Training Group "Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users." During his doctoral studies, Dr. Wainakh focused on exploring the intricacies of privacy within distributed social networks and distributed machine learning, specifically in the context of federated learning. Additionally, he gained valuable experience in computer vision while working at Fraunhofer IGD.
